We were late to lunch and this restaurant was next to our apartment and it was about to close but Frederico was so kind to let us in. The food was delicious, the chicken was moist and tender, the penne and spaghetti were al denté, the soup was just right, not salty and veal steak was soft. Pretty much everyone cleaned their plates. While having dessert, we had entertainment from Frederico.

Excellent food and service at Trattoria Nella! Lorenzo is a shining star of the establishment, he served us so kindly despite being so close to closing time and we had a great and traditional experience. It felt like a proper dinner in Florence!

What a fantastic meal in a hidden corner of Florence. One of the best meals we had on our trip to Florence. Feels like you are sitting in your friend's dining room having a meal with family and friends. Penne al Pesto and Tagliatelle Cinguale were fantastic. House wine was perfect with the meal. Don't miss this place.

If you’re looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend Trattoria Nella The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is excellent, and the food is simply amazing. Their Parmigiana di melanzane e Pici alla casalinga must-try! Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal or a special night out, this place never disappoints. Definitely worth a visit!

Best lasagna I’ve ever had. Period. I got the pesto lasagna and it blew my mind. I almost ordered a second plate immediately, but I opted for a panna cotta and coffee instead. Also incredible. 10/10 will make this an annual pilgrimage

Stop whatever you’re doing and just come to this restaurant. This is not your white tablecloth restaurant or for those that are picky. A hole-in-the-wall, non tourist trap, exactly what you dream of eating at in Italy. The experience of this space is what makes it worth it. Our liter of wine was sold out of this random brown pitcher. None of the wine glasses match. The food is incredible, nothing particularly special, but the experience the incredible food makes this gem absolutely perfect. Not sure who the older gentleman was but he was the star of the show.

First time having pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale in Florence. It is extremely tasty. Restaurant owner is very warm and friendly, feels like a home. Highly recommended to try when visiting florence
